Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 February 2026
LinkBrain uses only essential cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. No cookie banner necessary.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They help websites remember your session and preferences. Not all cookies are created equal — some track you across the web, others are strictly necessary to make a site work.
Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Authentication session (Supabase). Keeps you signed in. | Session / 1 year |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | OAuth PKCE security. Used during the sign-in flow to prevent attacks. | Session |
__Host-next-* | Next.js framework cookies for routing and security. | Session |
What We Don’t Use
- No Google Analytics or any analytics tracking cookies
- No advertising or retargeting cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
- No third-party social media tracking cookies
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Local Storage
We use browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your preferences, such as:
- Sidebar collapsed/expanded state
- Theme preference (dark/light)
- Onboarding completion status
This data stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them will prevent you from signing in. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, though you will need to sign in again.
