AI Search

AI Search lets you have a conversation with your saved links. Ask questions in plain English and get AI-generated answers sourced from your library.

How It Works

When you ask a question, LinkBrain searches your saved links for relevant content, then uses AI to synthesize an answer with citations. Every answer includes links back to the source material.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to AI Search 🔍 in the sidebar
  2. Type your question in the chat input
  3. Get an AI-generated answer with source links
  4. Follow up with more questions — context is maintained

Example Questions

  • "Summarize the main points from articles about TypeScript best practices"
  • "What were the key takeaways from that startup growth article?"
  • "Compare the CSS frameworks I've saved"
  • "What do my saved articles say about database scaling?"

Tips for Better Answers

Be specific: "What did Paul Graham say about startups?" is better than "tell me about startups"

Save more content: The more links you save, the richer the answers

Ask follow-ups: The conversation maintains context

💡 Pro tip: AI Search works best when your links have been fully processed (content extracted)

Current Limitations

  • Answers are based only on your saved links — not the entire web
  • Links must be processed (content extracted) to be searchable
  • Very recent saves may take a moment to become available
